CHEEFT Warranty Terms, Return Policy and Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Notice

1. Scope of Warranty

All products manufactured and sold by CHEEFT are covered against manufacturing and material defects for a period of 1 (one) year from the invoice date. The warranty covers defects arising from manufacturing only, and is conditional upon the product being used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the technical instructions.

For any claim to be assessed under the warranty, the following must be submitted: the proof of purchase (invoice/delivery note), the product reference number, and a description of the fault together with supporting information or images.

2. Exclusions from Warranty

The following situations fall outside the scope of the warranty:

• Incorrect or faulty installation.
• Use of the product contrary to the installation instructions.
• Damage resulting from user error, negligence or improper use.
• Failures caused by impact, accident, overloading, improper maintenance or unsuitable operating conditions.
• Natural wear and tear, parts classified as consumables, and deformation occurring through normal use.
• Modification of the product, including welding, grinding or any other physical intervention.

3. Return and Exchange Policy

Products found to have a manufacturing defect are assessed for repair, exchange or refund following an inspection carried out by the CHEEFT technical team.

• Returns and exchanges are not accepted where any of the circumstances excluded from warranty under Section 2 above apply.

4. Warranty Claims

Customers wishing to submit a warranty claim must provide the following information in full:

• Invoice or proof of purchase
• CHEEFT product code
• Production batch date
• Description of the fault
• Photographs or video footage of the product

Where it considers it necessary, the CHEEFT technical team may request physical inspection of the product.

5. Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Notice

CHEEFT processes its customers' personal data lawfully and in accordance with Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

Personal data shared with CHEEFT may be processed for the purposes of handling warranty claims, providing after-sales support and technical services, preparing quotations, communicating with customers, and fulfilling legal obligations.

Personal data collected by CHEEFT is:

• Processed lawfully and in good faith.
• Used for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.
• Retained in a manner that is relevant, limited and proportionate to the purposes for which it is processed.
• Not shared with unauthorised persons or organisations.
• Stored securely for the period prescribed by the applicable legislation.

Under the KVKK, data subjects may exercise their rights to request information, to request the rectification of their data, to request its erasure or destruction, and to exercise the other rights set out in the law.

6. Effect

These warranty and usage terms apply to all products unless otherwise stated in writing by CHEEFT. CHEEFT reserves the right to amend these warranty terms, provided that such amendments comply with the applicable legislation.
